ABOUT US:
Bloodline Africa was founded in September 2014. Our starting members were Johan Eloff (Drinkpan Wild), Ben Botha and Pieter Lamprecht (Crown Game Breeders), Woempa and Maruis Fouchee (Woempa Game Breeders), Harry Rossouw (Monelieshcke Boerdery), Sam and Wim Krynauw (Krynauw Boerdery), Hannes and Jaco du Preez (Matla Mamba Game Breeders) and Mike Gcabo (Ekim Wildlife). Since then Nico and Attie van den Berg (Ukujabula Game Breeders), Marius Roothman (Marius Roothman Boerdery) , George Potgieter (Schoongezicht Game Farm) and Dries Visser (Dries Visser Pure Bred Game) also joined us. Unfortunately, over the years, we had to bid farewell to a few of our members. We will forever be thankful for the quality they added to the Bloodline Africa name. We wish them good luck in their future endeavours. Today, Bloodline Africa consists of Crown Game Breeders, Dries Visser Pure Bred Game, Drinkpan Wild, Krynauw Boerdery, Matla Mamba Game Breeders, and Ukujabula Game Breeders.
As farmers and business leaders, we realize the importance and value of supplying the market with premier brands. We uphold the same ethos when presenting our prospective buyers with our extraordinary animals. The members of Bloodline Africa breed a wide selection of rare species including beautiful, natural colour variations. Our collaboration of members ensures that Bloodline Africa is able to offer you a vast and diverse pool of genetics. We will continue to offer animals to the market that will increase the potential of our buyers' own herds and add value to their game farming operations. We contributed R260 000 in 2016 towards Rhino conservation projects. Our charity contribution for the 2017 year was R150 000. The beneficiaries of these funds were the WRSA, HPG, and the Paul Kruger Kinderhuis. In 2018 our charity amounted to R 154 000 and we divided it equally between HPG and Droogtehulp with Burre Burger. The proceeds of the charity lot of 2023 was donated towards Matlabas Custodians and its affiliates.
The breeders of Bloodline Africa are situated in the provinces of Limpopo, North-West and Mpumalanga. This makes our animals adaptable to various areas and as such Bloodline Africa is able to serve breeders and investors from different regions.
The Bloodline Africa Auction is an annual event. We sell between 90 to 100 lots every year. We don’t focus on quantity and we have strict selection criteria for all the animals on auction. We also use a third party to oversee the selection process to guarantee transparency and independence. Wildswinkel is our auction house and Brandon Leer is our auctioneer.
